After a nice lie in, we woke up to pack and get ready for a 12pm checkout. I definitely miss the heavenly fluffy pillows that the hotel provided! (Almost took one with me) Checking out, we left our stuff with the hotel and ventured out to the square for the last time. We headed straight to KFC for a chicken dinner😏 We then walked back up to the shopping centre to kill time and have a look around. Jake wanted to look around ‘Saturn’ store, which was very much like Curries/PC World. It was filled with iPads, headphones, TVs and all the gadgets you’d expect. Whilst I was here I had to get another cinnamon bun. This time I decided to get a giant original one. Hot cinnamon bun with icing sugar😍 I couldn’t eat all of it, so ended sharing it with Jake. We spent our last few hours wandering round the souvenir shops, getting my mum the usual Kraków lighter. Jake bought a shot glass and I bought a bag, a bookmark and a pen. I always get a pen and a bookmark wherever I go😂 We then walked back down towards the hotel and waited for our taxi to pick us up and take us to the airport. Home time.😭
Kraków was amazing and it never changes. I would recommend anyone to go to this beautiful city. Cheap, clean and a great atmosphere. There are tons of things to do: Main Square, Jewish Quarter, Galeria Krakowska, Zakopane Mountains, Aushwitz, Salt Mines, Schindler’s Museum and loads more! Do it while you can even if it is just for a few days. I’m no expert but it’s beautiful in January, when you wrap up warm and the snow is falling. If you book, 100% go for Leone Aparthotel or Spatz Aparthotel, 5/10 minutes walk away from the Main Square and 5 minutes from the Jewish Quarter. They are both near easy access to trams, but the walk isn’t bad at all.
