Krakow- Day One

So here it is… My first piece of travel writing. Follow me in my travels around the world๐ŸŒ

As much as I cannot wait to see the world, I hate the whole travelling part. Don’t get me wrong, I love waking up early in the morning or going late at night to the airport. It’s the plane journey I cannot stand, especially after recently watching the movie, Sully. I am a victim of travel sickness and literally fall into a state of panic and anxiety when I sit down on a plane. There was, as usual, nothing to worry about and everything ran smoothly.

After getting off the plane and having a short transfer to the hotel, we arrived at the beautiful Leone Aparthotel. The entrance and rooms were stunning and it was situated in a great area for bars and shops. It was about a five minute walk from the main square, we recognised this from out previous trips. Since we arrived quite late, we decided to go out and find a 24hour shop for necessities and a bite to eat. I was glad I wrapped up as it was -4 and it was freezing! The cold smacked me in the face, the moment we stepped outside. We found there was a 24hour shop just accross the road. For food we walked towards the Jewish Quarter as we knew there was food served till late. We got a yummy baguettes topped with cheese and other toppings! We got back to the hotel around 2:00AM and watched a bit of TV (I managed to get Netflix on my iPad) before going to sleep for an early start!

Same here. I am never too keen of the actual “getting there” part but once I am there, I have a great time.
I am curious to see more of Poland from you. I will be going there in August so I am quite interested to see more pictures and read of fellow travelers.
